The BIG Ticket: World Cup, $27 Arts Donations, and More...
A few links, a few questions, a few ideas...
Hi!
A quick one today.
First things first, I’m looking for a couple of volunteers to talk with me about your ideas on ballots:
Wants?
Needs?
Why you use them?
Why you don’t use them?
Etc.
Just hit reply and let me know if you can spend 10-15 minutes with me.
Second, I was quoted in The Athletic, which is the sports section of The New York Times…
So, basically, I’m famous.
Give it a look.
I’m talking about the 2026 World Cup.
In the article, I talk about launching the World Cup like a blockbuster movie.
Would you be interested in learning more about that?
My son’s soccer club is on the third year of using my launch strategy and have grown tryouts and programs more than 20% each year.
Three, I’ve got two new podcasts in the queue.
I’m looking for some new ideas for conversations.
Do you have some ideas for podcast episodes?
Send them my way.
Next, I have not written about writing sales emails lately, but I saw a prospecting email from a Cleveland Browns sales rep on Scott Friedman’s Twitter feed.
This is better than a lot of them.
It starts by focusing on the customer…so that’s one big win.
And that’s unusual, if the marketing and sales emails I receive are any indication.
What do you think?
If you hit the fourth option, send me a note and tell me how you’d improve this.
