Hi!
I love Paris!

So I thought we should visit France and learn some lessons from the Louvre.
To the Tickets!
President Macron wants a Louvre renewal:
This caught my attention for a few reasons:
‘Talking Tickets’ has readers who work in museums.
I helped open the Experience Music Project in Seattle.
The idea of reimagining the experience is important for sustainability.
Charging locals a different price than visitors is something to keep in the back of your mind.
For You:
What idea can you use from other places?
Museums have memberships, special exhibitions, member entrances, pre-openings, etc. You shouldn’t limit yourself to one sector but look around to find ideas.
Have you revisited your experience?
Often we think we need a renovation to rethink an experience.
I would disagree.
Use the space you have in new ways.
Offer enhancements or special access.
Survey your audience and find out what would make their visit more enjoyable.
How is your pricing?
Is it one price for everyone?
Are you creating incentives for some actions?
Have you revisited your pricing in any way over a period of years? Or, are you basing your pricing off of old ways of thinking?
Let me know.
